CASPER, Wyo. — There’s good news and bad news in the forecast. The good news is more seasonal temperatures and the possibility of measurable rainfall. The bad news is the wind.

According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, Tuesday’s high will be around 75 degrees, with showers and thunderstorms moving through the Casper area throughout the day. Up to a half inch of measurable rainfall is possible.

Wednesday will see temperatures in the 70s with wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph possible. A high wind warning will go into effect in Natrona County late Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Thursday and Friday there will be wind gusts of around 35 km/h, with maximum temperatures between 25 and 35 degrees Celsius.

Saturday will be sunny with a high of 68 degrees, and Sunday there may be another chance of showers. Highs in the low 70s are expected for next week.
