Packers inactive: Jordan Love out, MarShawn Lloyd in vs. Colts

When Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was downgraded from questionable to doubtful on Saturday and quarterback Sean Clifford was promoted from the practice squad to the game day roster, we could all see where Love’s status was headed. On Sunday, the Packers officially ruled Love out by making him inactive.

The good news? He’s the only player missing Week 2 due to injury. That’s right, rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd, who missed Week 1 with a hamstring injury, will make his debut against the Indianapolis Colts.

As for the healthy scratches, defensive end Brenton Cox Jr. and rookie tackle Travis Glover are inactive for the second straight week. Receiver Malik Heath, defensive end Arron Mosby and tackle Kadeem Telfort, who were healthy scratches in Week 1 against the Eagles, are all active for this game. Rookie safety Kitan Oladapo, tackle Andre Dillard and defensive tackle Colby Wooden, who played last week, are the new additions to the Packers’ list of healthy scratches.

The Colts got some good news prior to the game when it was announced that defensive tackle DeForest Bucker and defensive end Kwity Paye, both of whom were considered questionable for Sunday, will be active for Indianapolis. Starting Indianapolis safety Julian Blackmon was ruled out Friday due to an injury. It wasn’t until today that Colts receiver Josh Downs was announced as inactive due to his ankle injury.
