2024 MTV VMA Nominations: See Full List

In just over two weeks, Taylor Swift might be able to take home some hardware.

The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards nominations were first announced on August 6, with a series of social categories announced later that month.

Swift leads the pack with 12 nominations, including one for the event’s big prize: video of the year for “Fortnight.”

If she wins, she would extend her own record by becoming the first artist to win Moon Man in the category five times. Swift is also up for Artist of the Year, while the track also earned her nominations for Song of the Year and Best Collaboration, with Post Malone.

Speaking of Malone, he’s hot on Swift’s heels, with 11 nominations of his own. In addition to his appearance in the best collaboration space with Swift, Malone is nominated for his hit “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen.

There are 29 first-time nominees, including names like Wallen, Benson Boone, Chappell Roan, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll and Swims.
