“I think I have a great platform for myself,” she said, per USA Today. “So I think the biggest thing would be to encourage people to register to vote. I think this is the second time I’ve been able to vote in an election. That’s the most important thing I can do with the platform that I have — the same thing that Taylor did.

“And I think you have to continue to educate yourself about the candidates that we have, the policies that they support. I think that’s the most important thing you can do. And that’s what I would advise anyone who has the opportunity in our country.”

Swift made her statement of support after Harris’ debate with former President Trump.

WNBA players have supported Democratic candidates for office. The Seattle Storm backed President Biden and his then-running mate Harris in 2020.

Clark does not appear to openly support any political candidate.

Clark was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and played for Iowa before turning pro and being drafted by the Fever. Trump won six electoral votes in Iowa. However, the majority of the votes in Polk County, where Des Moines is located, went to Biden.
