Taylor Swift endorses Harris. Trump says he’s ‘not a fan’

Now there is bad blood.

President Donald Trump lashed out at Taylor Swift after the pop star endorsed Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.

During a phone interview with Fox News on Wednesday morning, Trump said he is not a fan of the “Tortured Poets Department” singer. Instead, he said he is a bigger fan of Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“I actually like Mrs. Mahomes a lot better if you want to know the truth,” Trump said. “She’s a big Trump fan. I was not a Taylor Swift fan.”

Brittany Mahomes recently liked a post Trump made on Instagram in which he shared the GOP platform — before unliking it after receiving negative feedback for the move. However, she appears to have doubled down on her opinion and slammed the haters. She has also liked several pro-Trump comments on her Instagram.

Swift, who is currently dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and Mahomes are friends and were spotted together this past weekend.

Swift gave her coveted endorsement to Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, moments after the debate ended on Tuesday night.

“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend them,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post. “I think she’s a steadfast, talented leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we’re led by calm and not chaos.”

In 2020, Swift supported the Democratic ticket of Biden and Harris.

Trump said he thinks Swift’s endorsement of Harris will hurt her sales. Swift broke records with the highest-grossing tour during her worldwide “Era Tour.”

“She’s a very liberal person,” Trump said of Swift. “She always seems to support a Democrat, and she’s probably going to pay a price for that … in the marketplace.”

Trump praised Mahomes for her support of his campaign.

“I think Brittany is great,” Trump said. “She’s a big MAGA fan. I like her the best, way better than Taylor Swift… And I think — I think she’s great. Not Taylor Swift,” Trump said.
