See where fires are raging in Southern California – NBC Los Angeles

After the recent heat wave increased the fire danger in Southern California, more than 100,000 acres were burned by eight separate fires on Tuesday.

Below you will find the active forest fires per province.

Los Angeles County

The bridge fire in the Angeles National Forest near Glendora has burned 34,000 acres as of Tuesday, with 0% containment.

Since the wildfire was first reported around 2 p.m. Sunday, evacuation orders have been issued for nearby neighborhoods, including the Baldy Village area from the dam to Mt. Baldy Resort.

Orange County

The fire at the Trabuco Canyon airport has quickly spread to nearly 20,000 hectares since it was first reported on Monday.

Several communities had evacuation orders and warnings issued Tuesday afternoon.

San Bernardino County

Firefighters battling the Line Fire hoped to turn the tide on Tuesday as the heatwave ended and there was a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.

The Line Fire, which burned 32,905 acres at 14% containment, threatened 65,600 structures in the area.

Riverside County

Firefighters have made significant progress in battling the Tenaja fire, which burned 320 acres (130 hectares) near Lake Elsinore.

By Tuesday, the fire was 95% under control.

San Diego County

Since the Roblar fire last weekend, more than 1,000 acres near Camp Pendleton have gone up in flames.

Fortunately, the fire brigade was able to contain the fire on Tuesday, as it was 45% under control.

San Luis Obispo County

The Chimineas fire has burned 1,200 hectares since it was reported last week.

On Tuesday the situation was 90% under control.

Kern County

The Borel fire destroyed 223 buildings and damaged 29.

Since the fire was reported on July 24, it has burned nearly 150,000 acres in the Sequoia National Forest.

By Tuesday, the forest fire was 95% under control.

The train fire that destroyed 120 acres in Bealville was 65% contained.
