Nacua had four receptions for 35 yards, along with seven yards on one rushing attempt at the time of the injury.

With Nacua sidelined, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford relied primarily on veteran Cooper Kupp against the Lions. Stafford targeted Kupp 21 times (a career high for Kupp), and the two connected on 14 completions for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Nacua spent several weeks of training camp sidelined after suffering a knee injury during a joint practice. He returned to practice after the Rams’ final preseason game.

Nacua, a fifth-round pick out of BYU, broke out as a rookie last season with 105 catches for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns.
