LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were shot early Sunday morning in downtown Lincoln, police said.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the corner of 11th and P Streets for a report of a fight and found two men with gunshot wounds.

According to Lincoln police, both were taken to the hospital.

Police say one of the victims, a 24-year-old man from Lincoln, is in critical condition.

The other, also in his twenties, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
