    The No. 4 Alabama football team hosts South Florida in Week 2 of college football action on Saturday at Saban Field in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

    The Crimson Tide are coming off a 63-0 season-opener win in Kalen DeBoer’s first game as Alabama’s head coach and now look to get off to a 2-0 start in their final home game before opening SEC play at home against No. 1 Georgia on Sept. 28.

    Alabama plans to honor former coach Nick Saban before kickoff on Saturday with pre-game and halftime festivities.

    Ta’Ron Keith ran the ball three yards up the middle for the Bulls’ first touchdown of the night. USF originally went for a 2-point conversion, but a false start by their offensive line forced the Bulls to settle for the point-after attempt. Alabama now leads 14-13 with 9:35 left.

    Alabama ends the first quarter with a 7-3 lead. The Bulls outgained Alabama with 91 total yards, compared to the Crimson Tide’s 68 in the first 15 minutes.

    Jalen Milroe scored Alabama’s first touchdown of the game on a 10-yard touchdown run. It capped a 10-play, 65-yard Crimson Tide scoring drive. Alabama led 7-3 with 5:08 left in the first.

    The Bulls were first on the scoreboard on a 34-yard field goal by John Cannon. USF leads 3-0 with 11:26 left in the first period.
