Demi Lovato becomes an aunt. Her youngest sister, an actress Madison De La Garzaprepares to welcome her first child with boyfriend Ryan Mitchell.

“Oh Ryan I love you so much,” De La Garza, 22, wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday, September 5. “Thank you for making all my dreams come true.”

The Desperate housewives The alumna also shared that she is due next month, along with photos of her baby bump.

Lovato, 32, was quick to respond to the post. “I love you,” she wrote, sharing the photo on her own social media.

“Happy Birthday sweetheart. I love you so much!!!” Lovato wrote via Instagram Stories on Thursday, sharing a photo with her pregnant sister, older sister Dallas Lovato and mom Dianna De La Garza.

Madison has become a star in her own right over the years. Following in her older sister’s footsteps as an actress, she made her Desperate housewives debuted in 2008 as Juanita Solis and remained on the series until it was canceled in 2012.

Madison has also been candid about watching her sister Demi struggle with substance abuse. Madison recalled the singer’s 2018 overdose in the 2021 docuseries Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil.

“I heard my mom answer the phone,” Madison said at the time. “There was something in her voice that told me something really, really bad had happened and I should probably put my clothes on because we have to leave.”

She continued: “The first time I saw Demi in the hospital, when she opened her eyes, she looked at me. I grabbed her hand and said, ‘I’m here and I love you,’ just to let her know I had arrived at the hospital, and she looked me right in the eye and said, ‘Who is that?’ That’s something you never want to hear your sister say.”

Demi temporarily lost her vision as a result of the overdose. The Camp Rock alumnus previously cited Madison as one of the reasons she decided to seek treatment.

“My mom specifically said, ‘You know, we’re moving back to Texas, and you can’t be with your little sister,’” Demi recalled in a 2013 interview.

Since then, Madison has been sharing her own sobriety journey.

“I haven’t used in 230 days,” she shared via TikTok in February, captioning the video, “I know they proud,” referencing her ancestors.
