Rich Homie Quana platinum-selling rapper from Atlanta, has died … TMZ Hip Hop has confirmed.

RHQ died Thursday at his home in Atlanta… according to his family and a spokesman for the Fulton County Mortuary.

The family of Rich Homie Quan tells TMZ Hip Hop … that they are devastated and heartbroken by his sudden death. No cause of death has been reported and they are desperate for answers.

Born Dequantes Lamar in Atlanta, RHQ first broke through in 2013 with his instant classic, “Type of Way”…and followed it up with fan favorites “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Ride Out.”

Rich Homie Quan joined later Young villain on the Cash Money Records project, “Rich Gang”… and he often collaborated with his hometown friends, 2 Chains And Jacques.

The last time we spoke to him, RHQ the current state of hip hop is torn because of the murderous lyrics and the uniform song formats.

Rich Homie Quan was 34 years old.
