Frost has not coached since being fired by NU two years ago. Frost received a payout of nearly $16 million when he was fired following the Sept. 10, 2022, loss to Georgia Southern. He and his family later moved to Scottsdale, Arizona.

In an interview with CBS Sports earlier this year, Frost said he wanted to return as a coach.

“I can’t wait to get back to work,” said Frost.

He joins one of the best current franchises in the NFL. Under coach Sean McVay, Los Angeles has averaged 10 wins over the past seven seasons and has appeared in two Super Bowls, one of which came in 2022 over the Bengals.
