Wherever you are, I hope it’s a nice day. Get outside, take a walk, touch some grass, as they say. Because in a week’s time, football will be in full swing, giving you something different to do every Sunday.

Next Sunday, the Raiders travel to Los Angeles to take on the rival Chargers in their first game of the 2024 season. And it’s football every week (except one) until January.

Preparations for the season opener have already begun, but the actual game week begins on Wednesday when the Raiders take to the training field and the first official injury report is released.

Then the real grinding begins. From there it’s 17 games in 18 weeks and the hope of playing games for a long time after that.
