Texas A&M football starts the season with a bang, taking on Notre Dame in one of the biggest games of Week 1.

The Fighting Irish are ranked No. 7 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and are a familiar opponent for new Aggies coach Mike Elko. Not only did Elko face them in 2023 when he coached Duke, but quarterback Riley Leonard will lead Notre Dame’s offense this time around.

A&M currently sits at No. 20 in the coaches poll and will be the underdog against Notre Dame. There are a lot of questions surrounding the Aggies, and this opener against a top 10 team will answer a few. How will the offensive line fare? Can quarterback Connor Weigman make an impact against one of the best teams in college football?
