How to watch the 2024 Paralympic Games live from Paris on Peacock

Missing the Olympics even though it’s been less than two weeks since the 2024 Summer Olympics closed? You won’t have to wait much longer to see some of the world’s best athletes compete in Paris, as the 2024 Paralympics kick off today.

Over the next 11 days, more than 4,000 athletes will compete in 22 sports with a total of 549 events. It all begins tonight with an opening ceremony on the Champs-Élysées at the Place de la Concorde.

During the opening ceremony, four-time wheelchair basketball Paralympian and two-time gold medalist Steve Serio and Rio 2016 sitting volleyball gold medalist Nicky Nieves will serve as Team USA’s flag bearers.

As the official broadcaster of the Olympic Games, NBC will also be the official broadcaster of the Paralympic Games, airing a record number of hours of programming on cable, in addition to streaming every event live on Peacock.

The 2024 Paralympic Games begin today, August 28, and end on Sunday, September 8.

Which channels will broadcast the 2024 Paralympic Games?

If you have cable, you can watch the 2024 Paralympics on USA Network (daytime), NBC (select primetime) and CNBC (weekends). USA Network will broadcast at least nine hours of coverage each weekday, including live medal events, beginning August 29.
