Hozier concert in Billings postponed

BILLINGS – Hozier’s concert in Billings, scheduled for Tuesday at MetraPark, has been postponed.

MetraPark reported that the concert at First Interstate Arena has been postponed due to illness and that a new concert date has not yet been set.

“This event has not been canceled, so please hold on to your tickets and those tickets will be honored when a new date is confirmed,” MetraPark officials said in a statement on their website. “We will have details regarding the rescheduled event shortly.”

If you have any questions about the event, please call the box office at 406-256-2400 or email [email protected].

Hozier gave the following statement:

Hello to all my fans,

I want to thank each and every one of you who came out to a show during this time, and especially those who have shown so much support over the last few nights as I struggled to make my voice heard while battling a recent virus.

Although I really enjoy being on stage with all of you, my voice doesn’t get the chance to recover properly.

It breaks my heart but I will have to postpone the next two shows in Billings MT (August 27th) and Casper WY (August 28th) to give my health and vocal cords a chance to recover so the remainder of the tour can proceed.

Information on the new dates for these shows will be announced soon. Hold on to your tickets as they will be honored for the new dates as soon as they are announced. For those of you who are unable to attend, refunds will be available from the point of purchase.

I hope you can accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Love,
Andreas
