F1 GP Netherlands starting grid after grid drop and exclusion

Lando Norris will start the 2024 Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix from pole position, ahead of world champion and national hero Max Verstappen.

Norris beat Verstappen to pole position with a dominant performance in qualifying, while McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri completed the top three.

George Russell will start in fourth place, ahead of Sergio Perez, Charles Leclerc and Fernando Alonso.

Alex Albon qualified his improved Williams eighth, but he was disqualified from the qualifying results because “the floor was found to be outside the prescribed volume”.

This means that Lance Stroll will start alongside his Aston Martin team-mate Alonso on the fourth row, while Pierre Gasly and Carlos Sainz now share the fifth row.

Lewis Hamilton would have started 11th, but he was given a three-place grid penalty for impeding Sergio Perez and will instead start 13th.

He will not start 14th because Haas has broken the parc fermé of Kevin Magnussen’s car to replace the energy storage and control electronics of his Ferrari power unit.

Below you will find the final starting line-up, subject to any last-minute changes:
