In Thursday’s (August 22) episode of the BBC soap, the nurse was accused of murdering Debbie (Jenny Meier).

When asked if Sonia could be spared from a prison stint and exit, Natalie teasingly replied, “Who knows? But she has a lot of champions there on the Square…”

The actress described the situation to the press as “the worst nightmare come true” for her character.

Natalie added: “She absolutely can’t believe it, especially since Reiss was released because he has an alibi.”
