Panchkula: An 81-year-old army veteran was defrauded of 600,000 rupees in a online fraud after he dialed a number while searching on Google for a customer care number of his mobile operator. Cybercell has registered a case. Lieutenant Chander Kant Bhardwaj (retd), a resident of Sector-21, claimed that he was seeking help as his wife Sunil Bhardwaj’s mobile phone had stopped working.
