The “Best Week of the Summer” will take place from August 20 to 24 at the fairground, 1500 S. Eikenstraat.

The Grand Parade will pass through downtown Kennewick beginning at 10 a.m. on August 17, The demolition derby starts at 6:30 PM

The traditional offers of the fair week, of the Summary of Horse Heaven to fairground attractions, food, exhibitions and entertainment, starting August 20.

Surf pop legends The Beach Boys will take the stage on August 21.

Other main stage concerts include: Craig Morgan on August 20, Josh Turner on Aug 22, Goo gunk Dolls on Aug. 23 And La Original Banda El Limón on August 24.

Admission to the concerts is free with regular admission prices; reserved seats cost $30.

Fanzone and VIP tickets are also available.

The Summary of Horse Heaven starts every evening at 7pm in the Lithia Rodeo Arena. Tickets are available from $10 on August 20-22 and $15 on August 23-24in addition to a fair entrance fee.

Here is the general distribution of the entrance fees for the fair:

• Adults: $13 in advance (through August 19) and $15 at the gate.

Season passes cost $52 for adults and $20 for children and seniors.

A special discount day for children is August 21. Children’s tickets cost $2 that day.
