Greatness is defined by history.

And in the New York Giants’ 100-year history, the importance of earning a place in the franchise’s annals has not been lost on those who have.

Eight NFL championships, four Super Bowl titles and the Vince Lombardi Trophies to prove it.

Sixteen players are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and 37 players are recognized in the Giants’ Ring of Honor, including 14 whose jersey numbers have been retired.

With respect to the coaches and team officials and a nod to Wellington Mara’s mantra “Once a giant, always a giant”, this is our countdown of the greatest 100 players to ever play for Big Blue.
